As some of you may know, I suffer with dry skin. It can get bad, depending on the day and weather and the condition of my skin. So that requires me using products that would be suitable for my dry skin other than my medications (which they do not help at all!!)
So before I buy the products, I make sure I do research and ask my friends. From what I have discovered is that drugstore are better than high end as they can be quite harsh on the skin as they contain soo many chemicals.
So the products below, they are from Boots and Superdrug and they are reasonably cheap.
Ted Baker lip balm – As well as dry skin, I suffer dry lips too, so whenever I apply lipliner or lipstick, throughout the day, it would tend to get so dry that my skin starts to peel off and I hate that. My friend has recommended me to try the lip balm as they soothes your lip and doesn’t dry. So when I first tried it, I was in shock. Because it did not dry my lips, not even one bit. So before I apply my lipstick and lip liner, I would apply this on my lips 15 minutes before so that it could soak in and watch the magic happen.
Ted Baker body mist – I love using this especially on my neck and on my wrist. It doesn’t make skin itch or irritate it. It’s long lasting too, so that is perfect as I only need to spray it once.
Simple hydrating moisture – Can I just state that I love ‘simple’ skin care products. They are so good as my skin does not have any reaction when I use it and I actually think it’s the only drugstore skincare products that works well with my condition. So the hydrating moisture is so good. I use it every morning and before going to sleep. It blends in well with my skin and softens it. I also use it before applying my makeup as it helps to reduce my dryness. So this is a must have if you either have a dry skin or sensitive skin.
Simple soothing facial toner – Normally I am not a big fan of facial toner but THIS is amazing. I see a huge difference every time I apply this. It feels so relaxing on my skin and softens it. I usually wear this after wearing my everyday Nivea cream and before I go to sleep.
7th heaven dead sea mud pac – This is my first time trying the 7th heaven face masks as I usually wear the lush or the superdrug face mask. Apparently, they are great for dry skin and after trying it, I couldn’t agree less. It left my skin feeling flawless, which felt amazing. Although the smell did put me off a little bit, I would definitely be purchasing this more. I would rate this 5 stars! (I use this mask once a month)
So that’s is for my little skincare routine that I use for my dry skin. I hope this post has given you some idea and benefitted you. Have a good day and I see you on my next post x
